Wavelengths: Unity LED is available in the most standard wavelengths. While 385 nm is most common in printing to cure inks and coatings, others are more common in industrial or manufacturing to cure coatings and adhesives. Unity LED cures all inks, coatings, and adhesives available at these wavelengths. Unity LED's efficiency allows it to run at less than full power while curing at top speeds. A more efficient power system lasts longer and has less down time.
Hot Swappable Option: Unity's design allows for seamless swapping with our QuadCure Unity arc UV lamphead at the end of press. This allows for quick turnaround time between jobs that use different UV systems. Hot swappability is available optionally with a control cabinet upgrade. Unity's interface automatically switches between power supplies, offering seamless integration of arc and LED UV on one machine.
Future-Proof System: Unity LED's hot swappability with QuadCure Unity arc UV prepares your production line for the future. When inks, coatings, and adhesives that are only available in an arc UV formulation become available in LED UV, simply swap out the cassettes. Unity LED is also backward compatible with many legacy LED systems.
